This is my first about ideas that I have implemented in my classroom. It's nice because for the first post I want you to know that not only am I new to this whole blog thing, but this was my first year as a STEM math teacher. I was anxious, unsure, and nervous all at the same time. I was anxious about putting into practice all of the many ideas that I saw on Pinterest as well as on Teachers Pay Teachers. Let's not talk about being unsure as to what a STEM teacher really is or what he/she does. My nerves though, that was an entirely different story. I was nervous about what would the students expect of me, what would the parents think of me, what would my bosses think and their bosses...what would I think of myself? All of these questions raced through my mind as I embarked on this new journey of teaching 7th grade STEM math. The great thing was that these beauties were right in the same boat with me and I didn't even know it. Meet my team...the STEM Stallions.
